Callum Powell was born and raised in Poole, Dorset.

His training, love of dance and performing led Callum to represent England in Ballroom & Latin all over the world as British Captain. He then continued his training at the renowned Bird College.

Half way into his third year at college, he was offered a featured part in hit ITV series ‘Britannia High’, which he filmed between Manchester & London.

Upon graduating, Callum successfully auditioned for ‘Dirty Dancing’ in London’s West End, and followed this with the Queen musical ‘We Will Rock You’ at The Dominion Theatre, London.

He later moved onto commercial dance work, appearing on live tv including ITV’s ‘The X Factor’ & ‘Britains Got Talent’, BBC One’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’, Sky 1’s ‘Got to Dance’ and many more.

Callum has toured with many artists and shows across the UK, Europe, US & Australia.

A career highlight was achieving the role of Dance Captain for British super-group Take That’s ‘Wonderland’ tour in 2017. His association with the group continued with their hit BBC TV show ‘Let it Shine’, where he worked in a creative role guiding the up and coming talent.

Callum has embraced the creative side of the industry and has steered his career in the past three years as an Assistant to some of the UK’s number one Creatives, as well as a Choreographer in his own right.

His Choreography credits include: Robbie Williams - McFly - Hurts - The Libertines - The Last Leg (channel4) Diversity Christmas Show - Take That - Sky 1’s Sing Ultimate Acapella - Ava Max - ITV pilot - Rita Ora Jingle Bell Ball Stormzy - Glastonbury (Asst. to Amber Rimmel) - the greatest dancer - Spice Girls Tour - The Cabinet of Electric Dreams Jaguar Land Rover & more.
